We are excited to host this year's regatta and welcome all racers. This year's regatta will be held during the weekend of July 17 and 18.
The regatta is open to following one design classes:
- A Class Catamarans
- Albacore
- Buccaneer
- Chesapeake 20
- C 420
- Flying Scot
- Hamptons
- Laser Ilca 7
- Optis (Green Fleet - Novice ) A separate course will be set up for the Junior Green fleet right by the club house. Parents will easily be able to watch all the action.
- Penguins
- Shields
[Note: We are open to expanding the number of classes. If you would like for us to consider a class, please send an email to sailing@cambridgeyachtclub.com. Depending on the level of interest and our ability to support an additional class, we will make a decision by June 1st. An email will be sent out accordingly on any decision made. ]
We will attempt as many races as possible each day. The races will be held just outside of the yacht club so families can view the action right from our docks.
The club has a lift and ample parking available. We also have a dinghy ramp that can be used for launching the boats.

April 7: Early registration opens
June 30: Early registration closes. Entry fee increases per fee schedule above.
July 17: Registration Closes at NOON
RACE WEEKEND SCHEDULE:
July 17: Check-in open from 4 to 8 pm
July 18: Check-in open from 8 to 10 am
Skippers Meeting at 8:30 am in the Gazebo
First gun at 9:55 am
Regatta Party starting at 4 - Band, Fresh Oysters, Food, drink, and more. Not one to miss.
July 19: Racing.

Ceremonies are at 1430 or ASAP after racing completes.
Parking area has been blocked off for sailors on the right side as you enter the Yacht Club. You can park your car and trailer in the designated area.
The boat lift is accessible from the parking area.
Please avoid parking in the Community Yacht Basin parking lot; instead, park on Water and Mill Streets.
A boat lift is available at Cambridge Yacht Club next to the parking area on the right as you enter the club.
A ramp is available on the front side of the club. Used for launching boats with own dollys, i.e., Lasers, Optis, Penguins
Public boat ramps are available within a mile of the club. Launch and park your boat in a slip for the weekend.
There are many AirBnB and VRBO properties in the area next to the Yacht Club in the Historic District of Cambridge.
